Trees for Our Future

Trees for Our Future is a project to engage Seattle children, early childhood educators, families and communities who face pressure from rapid development and tree loss to raise awareness and promote action for trees for our future.


  • Identify experiences and needs of Seattle early childhood educators
  • Design an open-source curriculum
  • Host free STARS training
  • Distribute curriculum directly to early learning programs in impacted neighborhoods
  • Identify experiences and needs of Seattle families and community members
  • Design open-source at-home learning materials
  • Host community cafes
  • Distribute early learning materials directly to families and community members in impacted neighborhoods
